Hi, I'm Diana

I approach therapy with careful intention. My goal is to offer both structure and compassion as you work toward the changes you’re hoping for. I believe in the healing potential of an authentic encounter, a meeting between two people who are committed to understanding, connection, and honesty. I meet you as you are, and you meet me as who I am.​

My work is grounded in an attachment-based perspective, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. I see the alliance between therapist and client as a central agent of change. Within the therapy room, you are invited to express what may have previously felt unsafe or unspeakable, to take risks, and to be met with care rather than judgment.

I strive to create a space that feels steady, respectful, and sincere. Safety is extended through presence, compassion, and transparency, allowing therapy to unfold at a pace that supports both insight and growth.

In addition to my clinical practice, I have been teaching Theories of Counseling and Psychotherapy (Psy 612) at Pepperdine University since 2019, where I mentor master’s level students as they develop their skills and professional identities.

Therapy is more than simply talking. It is an exploration—an uncovering and meaning-making process rooted in your unique lived experience. Together, we work to deepen self-awareness and better understand how past experiences have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others. With insight comes the possibility of choice, flexibility, and new ways of responding.

Psychological distress often reflects the ways you learned to survive difficult or chaotic circumstances. These patterns once served a purpose, even if they no longer feel helpful. I approach this work with respect for how hard you have worked to cope, and with curiosity about what might support you now.

My intention is to help you build practical skills and internal resources that extend beyond the therapy room. Therapy is not about rewriting who you are—it is about expanding your options, strengthening your sense of self, and creating greater steadiness in your day-to-day life.
