Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Many people wonder if therapy will be helpful for them. A brief consultation gives us a chance to connect, talk about what brings you here, and explore your goals so you can see if working together feels like a good match.
What is the first session like?
In our first session, we’ll talk about what to expect from therapy and get to know one another. I focus on creating a sense of trust and safety while establishing a collaborative relationship. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy and identify the goals you’d like to work toward.

I’ll ask questions about your recent experiences and relevant personal history to better understand your situation, and you’ll have space to ask questions about the therapy process. Together, we’ll start developing a treatment plan that reflects your needs and goals.

Do you offer in-person or telehealth sessions?
I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. In-person sessions are held in a comfortable, private office setting, while telehealth sessions are conducted securely online. We can discuss which option feels like the best fit for you based on your needs, preferences, and circumstances.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. I offer a brief 15-minute consultation to help determine whether working together would be a good fit. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share what brings you to therapy, and learn more about my approach. There is no obligation to continue with therapy after the consultation.

How much do sessions cost?
Session fees vary depending on the service provided. Please contact me for details.

Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. Please reach out to discuss coverage and options.

What is your cancellation policy?
I request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

How do I schedule a session?
